School council

The main goals of this club are to discuss different terms - anti-Semitism, racism, sexism, homophobia and addiction. Objectives to invite a representative of an organization to acquaint students with civil or human rights, as well as invite a prosecutor, police chief and others to introduce students to their civil rights. One of the club's activities is to organize and An essay contest, and the essays you can read below. The club has also formed a committee of pupils to set up "Rules of Respect".

 

Model UN:

Model UN is a widespread worldwide method and serves for global education. More specifically, it aims at: learning about the world and about international organizations; Acquiring communication skills; Orientation in regional and global issues; Teamwork and decision-making through consensus

On April 6, 2017, a public debate was held in the school on "Are There Boundaries of Tolerance?". In the audience were 8, 9 and 10 grade students as well as lecturers. Then there was a lively discussion on tolerance and discrimination - "How do we discriminate?", "Who is different from us?", "How is discrimination manifested?", "Are we tolerant with the participation and help of the Children of Bulgaria Foundation? ". Specific case studies have been discussed.

Lecture-Training of the University Council on "Prevention of children's risk behaviors in the virtual space"

On March 23, a joint initiative of the Local Commission for Combating Juvenile Delinquency and Anti-Social Activities of the Studentski District and Cybercrime Sector at the Ministry of Interior was set up at our school in Sofia, focusing on the prevention of the risky Children's behavior in the virtual space and our rights as users in the global network.

We invited inspector Lyubomir Tulev, whose presentation revealed a number of ways to address the dangers of the Internet at the High School Board. The meeting was attended by the secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs Nevin Husseinova, the Deputy Director of the UDD - Valentina Stoeva, the school psychologist and the pedagogical advisers.
